The Association of Consulting Foresters (ACF) began in 1948 and continues to this this day as a national group of professional foresters who manage forests for private woodland owners. ACF consulting foresters are required to have a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and five years’ experience. All members must adhere to strict ACF ethical practices and meet continuing education requirements.
